Begone cursed casts!

Well yesterday was a day for celebration and few tears. Zachary's casts finally came off and it was a great moment. Unfortunately we discovered why his left foot hurt so much the whole time because of a very angry pressure sore on his heel that was quite infected. But it’s all dressed up and Zachary began at the hospital again with some basic physiotherapy today. It was very sore and hard work and there were a few tears. It was not easy going since his muscle tone is gone and the knees especially are locked and stiff. So we are taking it a day at a time. Deann and I are expected to do a lion's share of the therapy and with some instructions we both worked on it with him today. He made some good progress today we are pleased. He again made a couple of friends with his room mates (one young man speaks English very well). So it made things a lot easier to leave him there tonight. Thanks everyone for your continuing prayer. We are so thankful and we know it has an effect. Pray for energy for Deann and me as we are lagging quite badly with all that we have to do. I teach my last class at IBTS tomorrow and the students graduate next week.
