Step by step...

Well Zachary made it through his first day of full therapy. Some good news and not so good news... He was able to stand for 15 minutes (assisted) today so that was good. He was in various forms of therapy and has been really doing well but the doctor told us that Zachary was in casts far too long and that his muscles have all shrunk and atrophied and that it will make it much harder for him to recover. So with only two weeks at the therapy center (we wish it could be longer we will have much work to do with him when we are in Canada. Its discouraging to think that even two weeks less of casts would have made it much easier in the end. The Canadian CBM Youth Team left today early this morning. They seemed to think that things went well this week. I was able to finally get Matthew's Canadian visa in his Czech passport so he can travel with us in two weeks.... gasp... did I say two week?
