Our training culminated in a "mock" hostage taking situation yesterday. It was sobering to say the least as we were "captured" and sat with hoods and "cuffs" on. I can only imagine what it must be like to be in the real situation. Even though it was a mock exercise there were times when you would recall images of family and verses of scripture and think, "how could anyone survive this without Christ?". Hope, seems would be all you would hold dear to. It was an amazing day and I hope I never have to use this training but at least I have a few tools to help in the event of the unthinkable.
