Out and About....

Zachary was released today and both departments Ortho and Neuro are in agreement that the surgery should go ahead on the 5th of April. The problem is that our doctor (Neuro) still thinks we should try physiotherapy before surgery. The problem is that the place that they do intensive therapy is two or three hours from Prague.

However, if we go the surgery route Zach will be home after 5 days in hospital following the surgery in toe to hip casts on both legs (flat on his back or standing-no sitting) for 6 weeks. Then he would have to go to this rehabilitation place anyway for 6 weeks (we only would have four weeks since we leave for Canada the 16th of June). So he misses all school from April 5th on. Deann or I would have to go and stay with him for that period in rehab in the other town. I am entering my busy time for work with a team coming and the Acadia course coming. So we are in a bit of a dither and pretty tired. Anyone want to come to Prague for the Spring and help out? Its so warm here now the forsythia is out in full blossom and our cherry tree in our yard is in bud! The pussy willows were out two weeks ago and we are at 18 C now!
