It was a sad morning today when we received word that a dear friend Tom McGaw passed away from a massive heart attach at age 47. He is survived by his dear wife Roxanne and children. Please pray for them. This follows only a mere couple of weeks when another friend from our seminary Pat Gow also passed away from a heart attack after battling cancer. Today is the anniversary of Deann's dad's passing four years ago. As I watch the leaves fall today I realize that in their beauty they symbolize death and the end of life. As I reflect on the gift of life today I pray that my life and all our lives will be seen as a gift and that we live them to the full.
