I have been relieved that I am feeling back to "normal" today and thankful for turning the corner after the surgery. Can put it behind me, continue to be careful and not push too hard over the next couple of weeks. However... life is full!
Tomorrow we are looking forward to a visit from Brian and Sharlene Craig (the latter working with CBM as the Member Care and Human Resources person). Its interesting that both of them were at the camp where were all considering working with CBM in December 2001. A few years after we had been with CBM they moved as a family to Ontario from Edmonton and started up with CBM in 2005 in the role that she currently holds. Brian, who claims that Prague is his favorite city in the world (they visited us several years ago), is working for the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec as the Director of Leadership Development.
Then Monday we are going to have some meetings with Allan Jensen (CBM Short Term Mission Director) for the possibility of more Short Term Missions in the Czech Republic and perhaps other EBF countries (Romania has expressed an interest)... so there is no end in sight for things to build up!
