Restoration

Reflecting on the past year (since we tend to live in the academic calendar year rather than the January to December kind of calendar) we have seen its been a fruitful and busy year over all.  Horizons continues to grow and the EBF Youth Ministry has grown as well in the scope and influence of our training materials.  Work with teams and volunteers has been up from other years.  Teaching at IBTS has been rich and there are new endeavors coming in this regard as well.  I have been on the road more this year at the urging of CBM and the EBF to average a trip a month.  So its been challenging but not impossible and certainly rewarding to make the contacts we have across Europe and the Middle East.  My goal in in 2012 will be to try to touch base with our Central Asian countries which so often, due to costs, are not able to be a part as much of our EBF work and certainly not the youth work.

Our family are all well and the boys have "graduated" and Zachary is getting his head around starting at the new Riverside high school on a different campus next year.  After being at the current Riverside campus for nine years it has been his comfort and what he is used to.  So new days ahead for him.  He turns 14 in August and I can hardly believe it.  Matthew is entering grade 2 and will be staying on the old campus.

Deann and I are looking forward to these next couple of weeks of holiday before we have a team of Baptist Women arrive on August 5th to do a English camp in Litomerice where we will join them for a few days.

We are grateful for those who are consistently praying and supporting us financially and we try never to take for granted the sustained support and encouragement that we receive in our partnership together here in Europe and the Middle East.
