Days are full and we are well underway with our fall plans! Deann has begun to teach English on campus at IBTS and is cramming to relearn English Grammar (not a subject that she remembers liking!). She is primarily working with one young woman from Belgium who is further behind than the other students. Pray that both will work well together and that Deann will gain a quick sense of confidence with the material that she must create and use.
Jeff has been working on multiple projects. The promotion of the new Doctor of Ministry degree has begun and soon hopefully students will begin inquiring if they can enter the program to start next year. Horizons is one again LEAPING ahead and new people are registering and mentors are mentoring... all is well in this department. The details for the Horizons LIVE conference in France will be made soon. The roll out in Bolivia is a couple of months away. Conferences are being planned and the EBF Youth and Children Committee has met (virtually online - a Jeff experiment) to plan the conference in Lebanon in January.
Matthew loves his new teacher and Zachary is really very happy with his new teachers and the news school building despite the five flights of stairs up and down between classes! So far all is well. We were saddened that our new neighbours had a robbery last night and I spent the morning helping her with the police and they recovered one bicycle of four that were stollen. The husband was away and so she was in shock. Deann is visiting her now to encourage her. Pray that they will recover from the feeling of being violated. Its a constant reality here in Prague and theft continues to be a plague.

Hi Deann:
I am sure that God will enable you to learn the English Grammar course quickly and effeciently. I am sure that you and your Belgium student will learn it quickly and enjoy each others company at the same time. I will be praying this way. God Bless your Ministry!

So sorry to hear your new neighbours were robbed. I'm sure she is thankful you are both there nearby to help her through the paperwork and the recovery process. Praying that they will quickly recover from the feeling of being violated. It happened to us, in Canada too, several years ago but occasionally we are reminded again of what happened.
