Doctors and more doctors
Made some appointments for all of us today at our clinic... Deann went to hospital today for the final series of tests... final diagnosis... carpel tunnel (severe) in both hands... prognosis - surgery as soon as possible. Not good good news. My knee cartilage is having problems and I have final meeting with ortho specialist and praying not to have to have knee surgery. I have had a long history of dislocations with this knee since I was 14 as a kid when I did it the first time carrying a feed bag to the barn... then pop! Anyway the aging process as my doctor has put it... well it just is what it is. The boys just have regular things... Zachary has been seeing a physiotherapist for mild scoliosis in his spine. He has grown so rapidly that his spine has taken a twist... but they are seeing progress thank heavens... now just to get a 13 year old to do his exercises! Matthew goes to the dentist for the first time in a week.. that remains to be seen what trauma or good experience it will be... dentists here are NOT known for gentleness and bedside manner and can be traumatic for the bravest soul! So its simple prayers for health and other unmentioned issued that are pending and thanking God for good health care here albeit the language barrier gets us sometimes and would be great to have our mother tongue when speaking about these issues. Its not like buying a loaf of bread or getting the oil changed in a car! The positive if there was one for today was that the doctor that did the last series of tests was very articulate and explained the urgency quite clearly even if it was not great news. So continue to hold us up folks we appreciate it!
